Scene from the ill-fated Supergirl. The music, by the brilliant Jerry Goldsmith, is thrilling. One of the best film scores ever made.

Is to bad In the end of film that she left earth & went back home. She was only In a mission after all she just went to retrieve that glowing ball thingy called the Omegahedron I think. Other wise Supergirl would rule the 80's.

Goldsmith did a fantastic job with the musical material, considering how goofy the film material was.

Christopher Reeves was going to be in the begining flying scene with Helen ,but pulled out because he felt it wouldnt fit with superman being the last son and sole survivor of krypton.

2.) There is a point in the film in which Bianca tells Selena (in the original release) to worry about the one that fly's. Question, up that point, both Selena and Bianca have not seen Supergirl yet. The Monster Truck scene in the original release was still good, but the added scenes made more sense. ...I hope I made some sense.

I grew up watching this film. Have you watched either the International or Director's Cut. If not, watch it. When the film was released domestically, Tri-Star edited scenes, to make the movie just keep going (they edited scenes). There are still some questions that I have:1.) Are the viewers suppose to assume that Argo City citizens are the remainders from Krypton? I wished there was some more depth into that (no matter what version).
