I think the difference between Bob Dylan and Joan Baez was kinda simple. Bob Dylan just observed and wrote, he was more of someone who new how everything would happen, and it seems like he really just sings to sing. His eyes close like he's trying to push the view out his mouth or something. Whereas Joan Baez was trying to change the world with her music.

I agree. Young ones...get out of your apathy and pay attention to your country. Get off your guitar hero, HERO, and pick up a real guitar and write something meaningful and then learn how to play it. The people in our generation did. They died for it on a college campus at Kent State. They fought the war here as well as in Viet Nam because they had the balls to do it.

there is lots of great new music but your tv / internet is censored to it wont get beamed into your house. i retort to you sir/madam that you should get off your arse and go watch some new young talent where it sounds best - in the pub. and as for zfret123 can you not see that 100 percent is the greatest value there can be. 'please get out of the new one if you cant lend your hand' to both of you

Hey "20 something" year olds! Why does your music so pointless? Why can't you write songs that have meaning? We are 11 trillion dollars in debt, heading into a depression, fighting two wars where thousands have died, and have just been governed by a retard that rigged two elections... so it's not as though you have nothing to write/sing about.
